Objectives
On completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- communicate with others around the world using E-Mail (electronic mail), IRC and Newsgroups;
- navigate and search the Internet to find and retrieve textual and graphical information on just about any topic they can think of; and
- download software from the World Wide Web and FTP
Pre-requisites
It is assumed that participants will:
- have used a computer before
- know how to use a mouse
- have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows environment
